B Corporation.

Becoming a certified B Corporation was a natural next step for us in ensuring we keep ourselves accountable to these core values.
To achieve B Corp Certification, Eteria underwent a thorough 18 month assessment managed by B Lab. We were evaluated on our ESG performance across workers, customers, suppliers, community, and the environment. During this process, we refined our internal systems, strengthened our evidence, and further embedded our key principles into the way we operate.

We successfully achieved full certification in November 2025 with an Overall B Impact Score of 96.3, which was beyond our expectations. We are proud and excited to join this global community of like minded businesses, and we remain committed to driving positive change for the benefit of our people and the communities we serve.

Our Climate Impact.

Ecologi.

As part of our wider ESG commitments, Eteria partners with Ecologi to support verified climate and nature projects around the world. Whilst our primary focus remains helping clients reduce emissions through better building engineering and sustainable design, we also recognise the importance of contributing to credible environmental restoration initiatives. We also like to offset our own carbon emissions via planting trees and helping schemes dedicated to removing CO2 from the atmosphere.

Work Experience Programme.

At Eteria, we believe engineering is about creating a positive impact, not just through the buildings we design, but through the people we inspire. Our work experience programme gives students and young people the opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the engineering profession, develop practical skills, and explore careers in the built environment.

In 2026, we started our work experience programme initiative and welcomed four work experience and placement students. We were also proud to support a student completing the industry placement required as part of their T Level qualification, as well as a first year Mechanical Engineering undergraduate who joined us for a three-month placement last summer to gain a greater understanding of the industry and practical engineering design.

By investing in future talent, we’re helping to inspire the next generation of engineers, bridge the gap between education and industry, and create lasting social impact within our communities.

Volunteering.

At Eteria, we believe creating a positive impact extends beyond our projects. That’s why every employee is encouraged to give back to their community, with two paid volunteering days each year to support causes that matter to them.

Our team uses this time in many different ways, from supporting local initiatives to mentoring and youth development. Our Associate Director, Hannah Crewe, used her 2025 volunteering days to lead a group of Girl Guides on an adventurous expedition to Scotland, helping young people build confidence, independence and resilience through outdoor challenges and teamwork.

Sponsorship.

We believe that creating a positive impact extends beyond the built environment. We are committed to supporting initiatives that improve opportunities for young people and strengthen the communities in which we live and work.

As part of this commitment, we are proud to sponsor Love Basketball Academy a community focused basketball club based in Wandsworth. Our sponsorship helps fund scholarships for children and young people who may not otherwise have the financial means to participate. The academy’s scholarship programme is designed to provide playing, coaching and mentoring opportunities regardless of financial background.

We recognise the important role that sport plays in promoting confidence, teamwork, discipline and wellbeing, and we are proud to contribute towards creating opportunities that help young people develop both on and off the court.
